PRICING
The price of your cake will depend on the type, size, shape and number of tiers together with the complexity of the design and the amount of work involved. A plain or simply decorated cake will cost less than one with sugar flowers, hand-modelled figures or intricate piping detail, all of which involve a great deal of extra work. As an example, a 3-tier plain iced round wedding cake (10”, 8”, 6” sponges) will cost from £276 in a stacked style.
Wedding cake prices include consultation and tasting, design, liaising with your florist and venue provider/wedding co-ordinator, set-up at your venue and local delivery (within Barry). All other costs will be quoted extra.
Corporate cakes will be quoted on an individual basis – the price will include consultation, design, set-up and delivery (free within Barry).
Celebration cake prices include design and delivery within Barry.
These start from £25 for a 6” round vanilla sponge cake with simple decoration.
Novelty cakes start from £50 – the price will depend on the size, type of cake and amount of decoration required, especially for 3D model cakes which require shaping by hand.
Number-shaped cakes with fairly simple decoration - £40 for a single number, £70 for double numbers. If you are lucky enough to require triple numbers, the cost will be £95. More intricate decoration will incur an extra charge.
Tiered cakes will be priced according to design and will reflect the extra work involved.
Mini cakes - from £6.50 (sponge) or £7.50 (fruit), depending on the level of decoration. Minimum order of 1 dozen.
For an extra £1 each, mini cakes can be provided in individual boxes, tied with ribbon and with a name/gift tag attached, so would make beautiful favours for your guests to take home or for client gifts.
Cupcakes - From £1.50 each for buttercream swirls and from £2.00 each for sugarpaste tops, depending on the level of decoration required.
Minimum order of 1 dozen.
